“This puzzle only has seven pieces, so it should not be difficult. Right? You might be wrong! There are sixty puzzle cards that show 60 three-dimensional structures that players can recreate using the seven pieces. Each piece is unique because it relies on at least three to four connected cubes. Each piece is unique, with one being an L shape and the other a T. They get more complex from there. There are clues on the back for players who have trouble understanding how to build the Long Wall or Snake or the Bad Dog. You can also use the pieces to create your own structures. Block by Block, originally known as the Soma Cube. It is a great way to improve spatial perception skills. Includes drawstring bag for storage.”

Block by block is really fun
“This is a great game/toy. This set can do so many different puzzles. It is not only fun but also lasts a lifetime.”

Puzzles can be found everywhere
“All I can tell you is to be prepared to work your brain. It’s a fun and addictive game. It’s simple, but not easy. I found myself trying ….. many times. The funny thing about it is that people are more likely to believe they can do it than they actually are. Once they try it, they get stuck trying to recreate a basic looking photo. It’s a challenging and fun game, but if you get upset easily or become mad at the inability to solve a problem, it’s best not to play. This game is for you if you enjoy a challenge and love puzzles. When you solve a puzzle, you feel like a child. Then you look at the cheat sheet and wonder how you missed it. This is an extremely challenging and fun game.”

A great game that is best played solo
“This is a wonderful find. This puzzle game isn’t just for kids, it’s also challenging for adults. This is a fun way to practice spatial skills.”

As a middle-school guidance counselor, I have many “toys” that I use to help children unwind and distract them when they visit my office. Some people enjoy creating their own puzzles while others love the challenge of solving the card-based puzzles. This puzzle is a favorite of them all and is still my most popular. There are so many options and it allows for creativity. Each piece is unique. It is a great way to make their visit more fun.

It’s challenging for all, but lots of fun. This gift is perfect if you have also tried brick by brick.

You must be able visualize each of the 7 pieces on each card in order to solve the puzzles quickly and reliably. If you can visualize less than 7, it will give you a starting point that will need to be modified as you work through the puzzle. Young children can build their designs using individual cubes (blocks). This is a great way to teach them how to construct with blocks. Young children can also build their own puzzle pieces using blocks. These activities can help children to understand how the puzzle is put together.

I was looking for a puzzle with many different challenges. It was easy to carry around and provided multiple challenges. Although it’s great for the brain, I think one tends not to sit down and actually plan how each block should be placed. It’s a fun way to spend your time.
